During the last few days, the Gaud\u00ed Palace has remained in darkness in the midst of the Christmas atmosphere. This lighting silence responded to a purpose: to advance in the integral renovation of the monument’s exterior lighting system, a project conceived to enhance its architectural beauty and, at the same time, make it more efficient and sustainable.<\/p>\n\n
On December 19, at 8:00 p.m., the Palace will once again turn on its lights. It will do so with a provisional configuration, a first approximation that will allow us to intuit the spirit of the final project, although it does not yet reflect its final result. This lighting will be maintained throughout the Christmas holidays, accompanying neighbors and visitors on these special dates.<\/p>\n\n
The lighting renovation responds to a twofold objective: to highlight the uniqueness and aesthetic strength of Gaud\u00ed’s Palace and to reduce energy consumption by 70%, an important step towards a more responsible use of resources and towards the conservation of the monument in a contemporary key.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
