It is a charcoal on canvas from 1984.  It will be on display throughout the month in a prominent place on the second floor of the Gaud\u00ed Palace.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Rosendo Garc\u00eda Ramos &#8220;Sendo&#8221; has been, without a doubt, one of the most important contemporary painters from Le\u00f3n. After his academic training, he alternated his long teaching work with his passion for artistic creation. His work, technically magnificent, realistically covers the animal world (greyhounds or horses), sportsmen, landscapes, books and finally pilgrims and walkers, in a classic figurative style, full of poetry, which is present in collections in Le\u00f3n, Madrid, Bilbao, Paris and Lisbon.  <\/p>\n<p>In addition, the artist from San Justo de la Vega has participated in more than a hundred exhibitions in Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Poland and Japan.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Legajo&#8221; is an early work, with a dark chromatic tone that Sendo was clarifying with the passage of time, where he evidences his mastery of drawing, using two materials, pencil and canvas, which accompanied him throughout his life.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the month the piece will be moved, but will remain, along with those of previous months, until the end of the year.
