The Gaud\u00ed Palace continues to promote technology and digitization in the experience of its visitors through new audio guide services. After successfully implementing the interactive guide accessible to adults, the Gaud\u00ed Palace presents this Thursday, September 10, a new version specially designed for schools and families, again developed by the company GVAM Interactive Guides, which offers attractive and safe school visits.<\/p>\n

Beyond a contemplative visit, where students pass from room to room to observe the majesty of the Episcopal Palace of Astorga, with this new application, and through tablet devices, visitors can answer questions, play challenges, form teams and interact actively with the space.
\nWith this interactive guide Gaud\u00ed Palace joins the new era of school visits, where gamification and technology are the protagonists. Its operation is very simple, allowing school teachers to customize the visit, select the contents according to the educational level of the students and plan the tour stopping at the architectural spaces and themes of greatest interest. Moreover, unlike traditional school visits, this application stands out for its teaching methodology: students interact with the Palace before, during and after the visit. <\/p>\n

Before the visit:<\/h5>\n

The teacher, together with the students, can plan the visit to the Palace site with the application: select the spaces to visit, the contents they want to work on and even the games they will play. To do this, the teacher connects to the virtual platform and designs and configures the tour. <\/p>\n

During the visit:<\/h5>\n

With the participatory methodology offered by the platform, students can play while they learn. The guide includes several games: find the differences between what they see in the Palace and the images on the screen, solve enigmas and puzzles, connect architectural concepts or find secrets of the Palace…, and many more surprises, including interaction with several animated characters that will make the experience not only entertaining but also informative. <\/p>\n

After the visit:<\/h5>\n

One of the most interesting aspects of the new platform is that the experience lasts until the students return to school or home. Both teachers and parents will receive an email with a reminder of the visit (My Visit), from which they can also consult the most viewed content, the scores of the students and of each group, etc. A very useful tool for evaluating results, analyzing the contents that had the greatest impact on students and the interaction in the games and prizes. <\/p>\n
