On Thursday, May 21, an emotional act of commemoration will take place in honor of Bishop Juan Bautista Grau y Vallespinós, a key figure in the history of the building and responsible for commissioning Gaudí to build the new episcopal palace.

At 1:30 p.m. a sculpture dedicated to the Asturian prelate will be unveiled in an institutional event with limited seating and access by invitation.
