The Gaudí Palace in Astorga will implement, as of July 1, an audio guide mobile application for visitors who come to see the monument. It will be possible to download the guide in five languages, in addition to sign language and audio description, with the purchase of a ticket for the general visit. It also offers families an entertaining tour for the youngest members of the family.
Anyone who comes to the monument can choose between three types of tickets: general, family and guided tour. If you opt for the first, using your cell phone you will access the website or the application where you will download the audio guides that will allow you a more complete, educational and enriching tour. Of course, in addition to the mobile device of your choice, you must wear headphones or earphones to fully enjoy the tour.
With this system the monument of Astorga aims to facilitate and expand accessibility so that everyone can learn about the history of the Palace and the Museum of the Ways. The new audio guide offers visitors three types of tours, one of 30 minutes, one of 45 minutes, as well as a one-hour tour to make it easier for people to calculate the time of the tour.
In addition, the Palace offers families from July 1 a system of tour of the monument through the tablets. Aimed at children aged 6 to 14 years, it includes entertaining explanations for the little ones of the house, puzzles and fun games to discover and learn everything that has to offer one of the three monuments designed by Antonio Gaudí outside Catalonia.
From July 1, the Palace will be open from Monday to Sunday every day, except Monday and Tuesday mornings, from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00.
