The program will continue on Monday, May 18, coinciding with International Museum Day, with a special day for the residents of Astorga. All people registered in the city can visit the new Palace gardens after registering in the following form this form. The registration period will remain open until May 15, being necessary to present the ID card on the day of the visit to prove identity and registration.
On Thursday, May 21, there will also be an emotional act of commemoration in honor of Bishop Juan Bautista Grau y Vallespinós, a key figure in the history of the building and responsible for commissioning Gaudí to build the new episcopal palace. At 1:30 p.m. a sculpture dedicated to the Asturian prelate will be unveiled in an institutional event with limited seating and access by invitation.
